The art-show organized by Bengal Contemporary at Santiniketan Society of Visual Art & Design (SSVAD) from 15th to 21st Dec’13 had continued till 22nd Dec’13 for the particular visit by the eminent painter Mr. Jogen Chowdhury because he was not available in Santinketan at that time and the group members also the participants of Bengal Contemporary were also eager to meet him along with the faculty members of Viswabharati University for a tea-table discussion on contemporary art and aesthetics. On that occassion we enjoyed every moments and we became very much pleased to spend a long memorable time in that nice evening with all nice people in SSVAD. During the 7-day program that we enjoyed in every evening even the day (starting at 11 AM to 7 PM) with their appearance and appreciation by many local viewers, local artists, friends, visitors who arrived from Kolkata to visit the show, students of  Viswabharati Kalabhavan (art faculty of Viswabharati), upcoming young painters those who are now engaged in residency program in the studio premises and the faculty members of Viswabharati art faculty. Above all, the director of SSVAD, Mrs. Joylakshmi Sinha Roy’s role that we shall never forget all along. She always tried to keep up her look and care after every situation. We are thankful to them for their co-operation and a friendly attitude. On behalf of Bengal Contemporary we have a plan to publish a complete report on SSVAD including our show in nearest future.
