In this fast running realm of today
Artist’s statement :
I cherish enacting my heartfelt annotations through my portrayal in canvas, carefully culminated from my vision and at times handpicked from the sun and the rain, people and their brush with good circumstances and also the evil ones, their way of living sometimes seen and mostly reveled in the innermost realm of mine. Those are quite poignant for me as all the images are enriched by my emotions envisaged at different moments owing to varied aspects around me.
I have tried to delve deep in the most subconscious layer of my psyche and attempted to portray them through my canvas. I tried my best to recapture the very existence and flavor of the objects which has truly empowered my vision and catapulted me to be what I am today.
I prefer to keep my canvas less crisscrossed by colour where symbolic representation of objects plays a pivotal role. I try to keep it bare minimal and also I long to invoke the imagination through the warmth of my desires.
In this fast running realm of today, my world of paintings have manifested the feel of today’s world in a very subtle and restrained manner where few of them captures the slow walk of snail getting extended through wing of fancy, where the idyllic natural background has been used symbolically to narrate that may the slow-paced existence gets empowered. Sometimes apparent realities of life dictates me to slower the pace of the subject but at the end of the day my endeavour remains to portray a simple yet interesting visualization of objects.
Inner realm of people continues to attract me. It’s very existence, its relation with reality inspires me to put it in canvas through brushstrokes. I deeply long to keep on strolling on my way.
